Professor Adelstein won the Department of Energy's Funding for Accelerated, Inclusive Research together with her partner Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL). Over the next three years she will work on the project titled, 'Atomic to mesoscale models of phase transitions for energy materials'. As a co-PI in collaboration with LLNL, the Department of Energy, Vehicle Technology Office funded 'Elucidating Interfacial Chemistry and Transport Properties of Cathode-Electrolyte Interphase through Integrated Multiscale Modeling and Multimodal Characterization'.
